A Tablet Press (or Tableting Machine) is the heart of pharmaceutical solid-dosage production. It uses high-pressure compression to turn granulated powder into uniform tablets of specific size, weight, and hardness. Future Machine offers high-speed rotary presses designed for continuous, 24/7 operation.
The Turret: The central rotating part that holds the "punches" and "dies." The more stations the turret has, the higher the production output.
Compression Force: Features a Pre-Compression stage (to remove air and prevent capping) and a Main Compression stage (to form the solid tablet).
Weight Control: Automated sensors adjust the fill depth in real-time to ensure every tablet has the exact same dosage.
Interchangeable Turrets: Allows you to switch between D, B, BB, and BBS tooling on a single machine, offering maximum flexibility for different tablet sizes.
Dust Extraction: Integrated suction nozzles at the compression zone keep the turret clean and prevent cross-contamination.
Smart HMI: A large touchscreen interface allows operators to monitor compression force, tablet count, and rejection rates at a glance.
Safety First: The machine is fully enclosed in a sound-dampening, transparent acrylic cabinet with safety interlocks—if the door opens, the machine stops instantly.
Precision Tooling: Our punches are made from high-grade steel to ensure a smooth, mirror-finish on every tablet.
Auto-Rejection: Integrated "rejection gates" automatically discard any tablet that doesn't meet the weight or hardness specifications without stopping the line.
Easy Wash: Designed with "GMP-clean" geometry, making the internal chamber easy to wipe down during product changeovers.
To help you choose the right model for your production scale, here is the technical breakdown of the two primary configurations offered by Future Machine.
Feature
Single-Sided Rotary Press
Double-Sided Rotary Press
Output Speed
Medium (e.g., up to 100,000 tablets/hr)
High (e.g., up to 400,000+ tablets/hr)
Discharge Chutes
One (Single exit point)
Two (Dual exit points)

Two Pre- & Two Main Compressions
Best For
Medium batches & frequent changeovers
Mass production of a single product
Layering
Standard single-layer tablets
Ideal for Bi-layer (two-color) tablets
The quality of a tablet depends on how air is removed during the "dwell time" (the moment the punches squeeze the powder).
Filling: The feeder fills the die cavity with granules.
Pre-Compression: A light squeeze to push out trapped air (prevents "capping" or cracking).
Main Compression: The final high-pressure force that forms the solid tablet.
Ejection: The lower punch pushes the finished tablet up and out of the die.
The "Tooling" (Punches and Dies) is the only part that touches the medicine. We offer specialized coatings like Chrome Plating or Tungsten Carbide to prevent sticky powders from ruining the tablet face.
